Book cover titled 'The Haunted Teahouse' with a dark, spooky haunted house entrance with cracked stonework, dark foliage, and black tendrils or branches reaching toward the door. Text in the lower right indicates it is an illustrated fantasy novel by Yumi Tiger.

With a mystical tea house, a rivalry between blood-drinking and fruit-eating vampires, and a lineage of dragons whose legacy has been erased, The Haunted Tea House is a darkly whimsical, atmospheric fantasy perfect for fans of slow-burning intrigue, eerie magic, and worlds that feel alive.

✥

In a world where haunted houses are hunted, bound, and sold to the highest bidder, Emha once thrived as a sigilist—until she began questioning everything. Now, she’s done the unthinkable: she’s purchased an unbound house, a sentient structure shrouded in secrets, its shadow spirit old and sluggish… or so it seemed.

Her goal? To conduct a series of quiet, forbidden experiments.

Her problem? The house has too many doors, and some of them don’t lead where they should.

When an ancient portal opens in the dead of night, pulling her into a forgotten place, Emha is forced to confront the eerie past of her new home. A mysterious rider, a talking key, and a tea house that doesn’t always obey her commands are just the beginning. As she unearths the tangled history between spirits, manifesters, and the world beyond, Emha realizes she may not be the one studying the house—

It might be studying her.

AUTHOR’s Note

Hello!

This project began as a way to bring my world of fantasy to life through storytelling and illustrations. The Haunted Tea House is an ongoing series that combines mysterious characters, magical settings, and enchanted objects—crafted to feel immersive and personal.

The goal is to one day publish a beautifully illustrated book once the first volume is complete. Beyond that, there’s a dream to open a cozy tea house—a place filled with art books and carefully selected teas from around the world, with a small studio at the back for creating more stories and art.
